Calorie Deficit Must Haves

If you are not measuring/weighing your food before logging your food into a calorie tracking app (such as My Fitness Pal), then you don't actually know how many calories you are consuming. There are 40 calories in one teaspoon of olive oil - that doesn't seem like much, but it adds up! Especially if you use maybe a tablespoon or so to cook three meals a day - that's around 360 calories right there. Which could make or break your calorie deficit goals.


If weighing/measuring your food is new to you, it can take a little practice getting used to. It requires a little more effort while preparing your foods, plus a little extra cleanup afterwards, but it is totally worth it. Imagine how much more confident you will be by REALLY taking control of what goes in you?!
